Head of Governance & Company SecretaryPermanent / Full Time / Hybrid workingCirca £60k (consisting of salary scale 6B £54,950, plus market uplift)Working hours: 37 per weekWe have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Governance to work with our Executive team and Board to develop and improve South Yorkshire Housing Association’s (SYHA) approach to excellent governance. We are a forward thinking, values driven housingassociation, and this role is based in our head office in the heart of Sheffield.We have a legacy that spans over 50 years of providing great quality housing and a broad range of services to communities in the Sheffield City Region. Our purpose is for our customers to settle at home, live well and realise their potential, and believe that the need for the innovative services we provide alongside our homes is as strong as ever. We currently have 5,700 homes across a diverse range of properties, an employeeteam of c.550, and provide services to over 10,000 customers each year.We are proud of our excellent homes and services, and we want to match this with excellence in the processes, controls and systems that ensure sound governance and decision making. We have recently been regraded by our regulator and are implementing a clearand ambitious plan to ensure that we work towards and achieve the highest grading of governance.
