Elevation Recruitment Group is working in partnership with an industry-leading manufacturer in Sheffield as they look to strengthen a section of their internal operations team with the appointment of a Graduate Quality Technician. The role, reporting into the Quality Manager will work as part of a small team in supporting the business in maintaining, updating and improving the companies quality management system. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate with a degree in an engineering or technical discipline to develop their skillset within quality and work for a highly successful business that supplies to buoyant markets. Duties and responsibilities include: Assist the Quality Assurance Manager in maintaining the accreditation to the ISO 9001 Carry out System and Process Audits within the business to monitor compliance Hold quality workshops to identify and implement improvements in quality systems and processes Ensure the NCR process is working effectively and lead or assist with investigations into Non Conformances in order to drive the completion of all identified actions Input and maintain data within the companys electronic QMS software ensuring the QA system is kept up to date Generate, review and control Documentation and Procedures associated with the maintenance of the QMS Plan and coordinate in-house and external calibration of inspection and measuring equipment and ensure the maintenance of the calibration system Ensure all applicable documentation is readily available at all work stations and areas Interface with customers and Third Party Accreditation Bodies on all Quality Assurance related matters Carry out audits on suppliers in line with company requirements and expectations to ensure an effective service or supply Liaise with Customers and Third Party Accreditation Bodies during evaluation or compliance auditing of the QMS Provide regular feedback communication to all levels within the business through regular QA meetings, Toolbox talks and upkeep of notice boards etc. Identify, plan and deliver improvements to the QMS and quality assurance processesIm keen to speak to individuals with the following skillset: Degree in engineering or technical discipline Enthusiastic personality and strong IT skills Any industry experience is desirable Strong communication skills
