You would be joining a forward-thinking and dynamic team of Software Engineers building new web applications and websites as wellas maintaining existing applications.Within the role you will work alongside the creative team and be responsible for producing web pages using semantic markup and implementing back-end functionality to develop complex, interactive and data-driven websites.You would be a part of an team enthusiastic about technology, using their curiosity to produce innovative solutions to complex challenges, all working together on a single shared vision of making a difference. They ensure that their digital transformationsact as enablers to deliver positive change for both the business and to peoples everyday lives.Maintaining a good work-life balance and looking after each employee to make sure they can reach their full potential by offering a clear career path and on-going training opportunities is extremely important to them.What theyre looking for:The role would suit someone with a logical mind ready to tackle the day-to-day challenges through the use of best practice and coloration with other developers and designers, with experience in:

  • Experience developing back-end functionality with C# / ASP.NET MVC / ASP.NET Core MVC or JS/Node/Express.
  • JavaScript, HTML, CSS
  • js and/or React
  • Experience translating visuals and wireframes into semantically correct web templates.
  • Knowledge of design principles and the ability to translate these into fluid and responsive templates.
  • Experience integrating with back-end database systems, including relational databases or no-SQL platforms.
  • Proven debugging and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience integrating with server-side code to produce dynamic pages.
  • Experience working with version control systems such as GIT.
  • Some experience in AJAX techniques.
  • Experience working in agile software development teams, using tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
The following would be desirable but theyll be opportunity to learn:
  • CMS (Such as Umbraco or Sitecore)
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
  • Azure/AWS Cloud
  • Knowledge developing cross-platform/browser compatibility (IE10+ & Evergreen Browsers) for dynamic web applications.
