Location: SheffieldContract: PermanentHours: Full Time 37.5 hours per week OR Part Time 30 hours per weekSalary: Up to £30,000 max depending on experienceBenefits package: 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays, 15% employer contribution, flexible working, performance related bonus, cycle to work scheme, healthcare cash plan, life assurance, buy and sell holiday scheme, lifestyle benefits and more.THE ROLEYou will drive the delivery of change, continuous improvement and a strong control framework for Finance, gather information and produce analysis and reports, seek opportunities for improvement in all areas of responsibility and work collaboratively with the Senior Managers within the Financial Control and Governance (FC&G) Team.You will be responsible for contributing to the development and delivery of an appropriate internal control framework, support Finance colleagues in defining and planning change projects, e.g. resource requirements, timescales, appropriate methodology and proactively monitor and report on project progress, risks and benefit realisation.You will also establish relationships across Finance at a practitioner level to identify current problems and opportunities and feed these into the programme of change.As a new role, this is a fantastic opportunity for an entry level candidate or for someone with a little more experience, who are looking to move to a growing organisation within the public sector.Essentially you will be a proficient user of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint, and have experience working as part of a team and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.Experience in a banking environment or a control function such as Risk, HR or any central function, experience of implementing projects based on people/organisational/IT change and knowledge and/or experience of change and continuous improvement methods (e.g. Agile, 6-sigma) would be beneficial but not essential.View the full job description on our careers page.ABOUT US The British Business Bank is a unique and exciting institution.
