Do you want to be apart of a growing business I’m currently partnered with a driven company based in the Sheffield area that are looking to expand and in doing so are looking for a highly motivated Electrical Engineer to join them in this venture.If this sounds like you then we are very interested in speaking with you!About the role:
  • I am working with an incredible client looking for a driven Electrical Engineer with control panel and control system design experience specifically within an industrial automation environment. You will be an essential member of the team and help tobuild/growthis team focusing on their core market within water treatment.
Responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer:
  • Design and specification of control panels and control systems for industrial automation
  • Modify and develop PLC programme architecture for industrial automation where needed
  • Ensure all technical documentation relevant to the projects are kept up to date and comply with standard electrical codes
  • Liaise with internal and external electricians to ensure all electrical site work (installations and modifications) are completed
  • Undertake electrical site work where needed (mainly in the initial stages of the role to help the team) including installation and commissioning
Requirements of the Electrical Engineer:
  • 4+ years’ experience within industrial automation
  • Writing and trouble-shooting PLC programmes experience
  • Experience working with sub-contractors
  • Level 3 NVQ (minimum requirement)
  • 18th Edition qualification ideally
