Metalis are working with a brilliant Engineering Workshop who are specialist in Oil & Gas drilling equipment. Due to continued investment and expansion our client is looking for Draughtsperson to join their team.This role has a clear succession plan attached to it and will suit an individual looking to forge a career for themselves in a company who really looks after their workforce. This is a days regular position working 08:30 - 16:30, Monday to Friday. In return our client will pay £28 - 30,000 per year.Expected DutiesProduce detailed 2D/3D Drawings ensuring accurate measurements are followed using Solidworks softwareCreation of CAD Models at various stages of manufacturingWork closely with the production team on each jobCreate drawings inline with the agreed time scalesCreate drawings for jigs and fixturesReview drawings by colleagues and collaborate wellAssist in drawings that will benefit the companys own product rangesAbout YouBe able to manage work loads in an effective and timely mannerBe able to keep accurate records of drawingsWork Cohesively within a team as well as individuallyBe able to confidently contribute ideas for the companys wider successBe fully proficient in the use of SolidWorks CAD Software
