Job Description

Credit ControllerSheffield£23,000- £25,000Chase & Holland are looking for a passionate credit controller who would feel confident about working in a legal setting who is looking to grow their experience of working in a large organisation. This role would be a great fit for someone with previous creditcontrol experience who enjoys new challenges and who would also enjoy the possibility of working in a hybrid role. This role will report to the finance operation managers and will offer a range of benefits to the right candidate.Package & Benefits:

Credit Controllerresponsibilities:
  • Work punctually and deliver results on time in line with colleague and client needs
  • Look over and assess the ways in which services can be implemented
  • The ability to look over existing services and assess areas improvement can be made
  • Ability to implement credit policies
  • Liaison with external and internal parties to ensure the payment of invoices
  • Handling client queries escalating these queries to higher management as required
  • Follow and process bad debt
What were looking for
  • Knowledge of a legal billing system would be advantageous
  • Experience of using Microsoft word and excel
  • Computer literatewith the ability to type quickly and accurately
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and customers
  • Analytical skills to look at issues in a clear and logical manner
  • Flexible and able to think in abstract terms to solving issues
  • Someone who is passionate about their role and who will work well with the team
  • Ability to work to time constraints and manage workflow
  • Ability to work accurately
  • Previous knowledge of account management
It would be advantageous if you:
  • Have worked in a credit control position inside of a legal firm
  • Experience of working with high value ledgers and of processing high invoice volumes
Hours:
  • Full-time, Monday to Friday/ Hybrid working with one day a week in the office
