This organisation has cultivated a strong and growing clientportfolio, strategically serving clients nationwide.Client DetailsCost Manager Senior - Associate Director (Commercial/Contractual)Join this dynamic team as a construction professional providing professional commercial and contract advisory services and dispute resolution. As a key player, you will report directly to the Managing Director, leveraging your construction-related degreeand years of experience in dispute resolution/avoidance services and advice or managing claims/disputes.DescriptionKey Responsibilities:

  • Review and provide expert advice on construction contracts.
  • Assist clients in avoiding disputes through commercially-focused advice.
  • Address issues related to loss and delay.
  • Collaborate with our Delay Analysts on time-related matters.
  • Deliver coaching and training sessions on commercial, contractual, and time-related matters.
  • Represent clients in various tribunals.
  • Provide managerial support to the Managing Director.
ProfileWere seeking a candidate with a proven track record, possessing:
  • Construction degree qualification, preferably in Quantity Surveying.
  • Chartered or other relevant professional qualification.
  • Extensive experience in construction commercial and contractual advice.
  • Expertise in dispute avoidance or resolution.
  • Leadership skills and a desire to develop team members.
  • Profound knowledge of commercial and contractual matters.
  • Strong communication skills and assertiveness.
  • Familiarity with JCT, NEC, and non-standard forms of contract.
