This is a busy role and would be best suited to someone with a proven track record working within a fast paced environment. You will beresponsible for all aspects of a CNC Setter Operator.Role & ResponsibilitiesYour role will be to operate various cnc vertical machining centres within the Production Facility. Operation of Doosan Dahli and Hartford CNC vertical milling machines; to high standard of quality andproductivity. Adherence to company Health and Safety Policy. Maintenance of shop floor housekeeping standards.Qualifications, Skills, Experience & Personal AttributesPersonal Has passion, desire and will. Enthusiastic and motivated and driven by results. Strong problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills. Good team working skills.Experience Apprentice trained or equivalent on the job hands on competent experience. Ability to carry out set ups for new repeat parts. Run and modify existing programmes, offsets etc Proven ability to read and interpret complex product drawings including geometrical tolerances andsymbols for machining. Proven ability to work to tight, accurate tolerances. Ability to operate 1 or 2 machines where safe and practicable or work within a cell operation.Desirable: Apprenticeship or Engineering qualificationo Either NVQ/ONC/HNC/HND Previous experience in a steel machining precision environment. Previous Machine Knife manufacturing experience advantageous.Working Location & Travel RequirementShould be located or be prepared to re-locate to within a reasonable commuting distance from Sheffield.Company Benefits Holidays: 22 days plus statutory holidays progressing to 25 days plus 8 statutory holidays.
