* CNC Turning* CNC Milling* Fanuc controlsLodestone Recruitment is working in partnership with a Sheffield based manufacturing business who is one of the leaders in their market. Due to increased workload, they have created a new position for a CNC Machinist to join their team on a permanent basis.With your choice of morning start time, the successful CNC Machinist will be producing a range of small components to very tight tolerances. You will be working on both turning and milling machines using Fanuc controls. You will also be using manual measuringequipment and operating a CMM.The main duties for the CNC Machinist will include:* Operating single/multi axis CNC machines (Doosan, Mori Seiki, Nakamura) and produce parts to achieve the production schedule and product specifications.* Writing, editing and proving CNC programmes and develop manufacturing processors for New Product Development (NPD) and/or engineering requirements.* Comply with all Quality Management System (QMS) and Health and Safety requirements.If you are a CNC Machinist with some, or all, of the following skills & experience, we want to hear from you:* Experience with either turning or milling (or preferably both)* Fanuc operating system experience required - ability to programme an advantage* Multi axis/spindle experience beneficial* Ideally hold a recognized engineering qualification* Experience of using handheld measuring equipment desirable* Experience of operating Mitutoyo CMM beneficialThe business is a well-regarded manufacturer with an excellent company culture.
