Building control surveyor - Sheffield Region - £40k - Immediate start We are looking for a new Building Control Surveyor to help provide a sustainable, accessible, and safe built environment. All design team members to ensure that building regulation compliance is integrated into projects from inception to completion.Job requires you to: *Ensuring, as far as practicable, compliance with building regulations and associated standards of construction projects and/or conversion projects.*Working with Agents, Architects, and site personnel to develop good customer relations and promote the objectives and services of the company.*Responsibility for the day-to-day project management of multiple projects.*Support plans to ensure success of the overall Group strategic plan.*Input into the Groups strategic planning processThe successful Building control surveyor will have the following:*The ability to make pragmatic and value decisions * CIOB*5 + years experience as a BCS*Able to work with the minimum of supervision in line with established policies and procedures*Good communication and interpersonal skills and able to prepare detailed inspection reports*Strong Commercial awareness*Presentation skills*Good knowledge of financial reporting and measurement*Must have a corporate membership of an appropriate recognised professional institute, ideally the Chartered Institute of Building Engineers or Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
