Job Description

Bid Writer Location: Chesterfield, Sheffield Total OTE: £38K CV Screen are currently recruiting for a talented Bid Writer to join a well-established specialist college based near Chesterfield. A salary of up to 38,000 is offered dependent on experience. The role will require you to be in the office 4 days per weekwith 1 home working day available.The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in Conducting thorough research on potential funding opportunities, grants, and tenders relevant to our clients’ goals and missions. There may be a requirement to travel to a range of different sites so thereforea driving license would be ideal. Mileage and expenses are provided for travel during the working day.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct thorough research on potential funding opportunities, grants, and tenders.
  • Analyse and understand the specific requirements and criteria of each funding opportunity.
  • You will work closely with internal stakeholders, including academic departments and support services, to gather information and insights necessary for proposal development.
  • Ensure all proposals comply with the guidelines and requirements of funding opportunities.
  • Conduct thorough quality checks to maintain high standards in written materials.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with funding agencies, donors, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Attend networking events and conferences to stay informed about funding trends and opportunities.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Proven experience in bid writing, proposal development, or grant writing.
  • You will need the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Degree in relevant field or other equivalent qualification is desirable.
  • Any Familiarity with funding landscape in the education sector would be preferrable.
SALARY & BENEFITS:
  • OTE: £38,000
  • 1 day hybrid working per week.
