We provide a full range of hospital and community services for people in Sheffield, as well as specialist care for patientsfrom further afield.What youll be responsible for:· Type Patient letters relating to clinic appointments, discharge summaries, tests etc from audio, longhand, or verbal dictation, to meet Trust Standards.· Typing of Junior Medical Staff clinical work.· Ability to use range of Microsoft office packages including work, excel and outlook and hospital patient systems.· Comply with Data Protection Act, Access to Health Records Act and related Acts, Health and Safety Procedures and confidentiality.· Occasionally take receipt of test results and ensure they are forwarded to the relevant medical secretary for follow-up and ensure action is taken.· Use Lorenzo/PAS/PFI to obtain missing patient information.Youll learn the following whilst working at the trust:1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times3.
