Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be working with a highly regarded (and growing) Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy on the hire of an Associate Planner.Due to continuing growth, our client is looking for a qualified and experienced Town Planner to join their friendly and busy team in Sheffield.As an Associate Planner you will work under the supervision of senior staff but also be given the opportunity to lead on projects and engage in a range of development plan / policy and development management work. This will include, but is not limited to,local plan representations, site promotion, appeals, EiP and public inquiry work.With excellent stakeholder management skills, you will also be offered a high degree of client interface and the opportunity to attend networking events in order to grow your personal contacts and promote the company. You should be self-motivated and willbe excited by the prospect of developing your own client base and making a real contribution to the growth of the business.QualificationsI am looking to hear from a qualified Town Planner ideally with appropriate professional experience to take on an Associate Planner role (private or public sector). Candidates should be educated to undergraduate level (2:1 or above) and should also obtaineda postgraduate qualification in Planning. You should also be a chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
