Assistant Company SecretaryLocation: London / Sheffield / Hybrid WorkingContract: PermanentHours: Full TimeSalary: Up to £43,000 p/annum depending on experience and locationBenefits package: 30 days annual leave plus public holidays, pension scheme (15% employer contributions), life assurance and flexible working.THE ROLEYou will support the Deputy Company Secretary in providing proactive and effective Company Secretarial support to the BBB group, subsidiary boards and their committees. This support will include managing the board and committee meeting processes and workingwith management teams to ensure the timely publication of high quality materials to the BBB board portal.The Assistant Company Secretary will develop a strong working relationship with Executives, Chairs, board and committee members and will help to minute meetings, track the completion of actions arising from such meetings and maintain board and committeerecords including minutes and other documentation.You will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance of statutory records for entities falling within the remit of the Banks Secretariat and for ensuring the timely submission of statutory filings. You will assist in the production and approval of AnnualReports and be expected to keep abreast of any developments in approach to common reporting items by our industry peers.It is essential that you have experience and enthusiasm for minute taking at the most senior level. You will have a solid grasp of the Companies Act and extensive experience in a similar role within financial services. You will act at all times with integrityand discretion and possess excellent communication skills with a methodical approach and keen attention to detail. You will be educated to degree level and ideally be an Associate or Fellow of ICSA.ABOUT USThe British Business Bank is a unique and exciting institution.
