SIG Plc. is a leading supplier of specialist building materials to trade customers across Europe as a specialist distributor of insulation and interiors products and merchant of roofing and exterior products. We are currently looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Administrator to join the team at Adsetts House in Sheffield, someone who is organised, motivated and able to communicate well with others.What does the role involveAs Accounts Payable Administrator you will be required to assist with a range of AP queries. A good manner over the phone is essential for this role as you will also be required to make outbound calls to new and existing suppliers. Having theability to build good relationships will be a large part of this role as you will liaise with our branch and sales teams, suppliers and customers and maintain and update the customer and supplier database, along with directing our outsource partners offshore,when dealing with escalated queries.The successful candidate will require:Exceptional communication, teamwork and customer service skills, with the ability and confidence to present dataExperience in an Accounts Payable role, preferably with in a complex or high-volume environmentThe ability to build relationships with a variety of internal and external customers and stakeholdersSelf-motivation, with the ability to organise and prioritise your work to meet deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft Excel and working with spreadsheetsExcellent organisational skills and influencing skills, with a can do attitudeIn return we offer:Competitive salary with annual pay award and staff recognition schemes25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays.
