Job Description

An exciting opportunity to join a leading consumables provider who are seeking an Account Manager across the North of England to join their fast growing team.Client DetailsOur client is a leading consumables provider who is currently seeking an Account Manager to join their Sales team. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customers and will be selling a range of welding equipment, welding consumables and gases.You will be responsible for demonstrating the product to customers such as tools, hardware, adhesives and consumables.As Account Manager, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets through growth of existing customers and generating new business.DescriptionYou will be responsible for:

  • Achieving the companys sales and profit targets, through the development of accounts and prospecting for new business
  • Strong customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Develop and deliver a sales plan for your accounts to maximise their potential
  • Compliance with all company policies
  • Be proactive by up-selling and cross-selling to customers
  • Develop new ideas using previous data and account history to ensure consistent growth with your accounts
  • Travelling and being face to face with customers
  • Developing strong relationships with customers through consistent engagement and visits
ProfileThe successful candidate:
  • Practical experience of welding, able to demonstrate welding equipment and consumables is advantageous, alternatively working with industrial gases/industrial B2B
  • Working with end users as well as experience advising and demonstrating use of a product to end users
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements
  • Track record of achieving and exceeding company set targets
  • Experience demonstrating products to customers, whilst also following the sales process to ensure you are meeting the customers needs whilst also meeting quality standards
  • Strong communication skills working with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Field based B2B sales experience is essential for this role
  • Happy to travel
