Design and Technology - full time - Oldham - Autumn term Prospero Teaching are seeking a qualified, passionate and dedicated teacher of Design and Technology to join a secondary school in Oldham for the Autumn term, (September till Christmas). The role will be full time, and it is essential that you hold QualifiedTeacher Status (QTS) and have recent experience teaching in the Design and Technology department at a secondary school, ideally with resistant materials. You will be required to teach KS3 & 4 classes. The successful candidate will be able to provide exceptional support to students, demonstrate good behaviour and classroom assistance/management. You will also need to be available to attend parents evenings, and departmental meetings as and when required. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location Oldham Position Design and Technology Teacher Start date September 24 End date December 24 Full time Minimum rate of pay £153 per day Hours 8:30AM 4:00PMEXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent Previous experience working in a UK school teaching D&T Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided) Up to date prevent awareness & FGM training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided) Design and Technology UK Teaching experience desired TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to obtain a new one Provide two professional references If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV today.
