Job Description

Sales Representative� Stalybridge, Manchester Competitive salary plus bonusWe are looking for an ambitious and successful Sales professional to join our Readymix team as a sales representative at Stalybridge Readymix in Manchester. We need your skills in providing an excellent service to our customer base and your energy to driveforward with new sales both with existing accounts and new customers. It doesnt matter what your background is, we welcome your fresh ideas, passion and proven sales capability within this fast-paced setting.This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated sales professional looking to embark on a rewarding career path with a prominent building materials supplier. While primarily centered around a desk-based role, this position also offers exciting prospectsfor involvement in external sales activities.Keys aspects of the role include:

  • You will help manage social media content promoting existing excellent service, new product ranges and share good news stories across the brand.
  • You will provide key support to the commercial manager and small account sales representative, with initial customer contact and information gathering.
  • The role is expected to be predominantly internal based at Stalybridge Ready Mix, however some travel will be needed for training and customer and site familiarisation.
  • Make regular sales calls to existing portfolio customers to an agreed call plan with specific call objectives.
  • Navigate systems efficiently and accurately, keeping the customer informed at all times.
  • Ask relevant questions and communicate in an empathic, confident and assertive manner.
