Job Description

Sales order processor / Glasgow / £CompetitiveWould you like to join a long-established family-owned business with a significant market share How about a company thats ambitious, forward thinking and with plans to grow Do you want to join the luxury spirits industry as a key supplierIf the answer is yes. Read onPurpose of the role: To ensure to the best of your ability the supply needs of our key customer are meton time, following process through from receipt of demand, through to timely dispatch.What could the day-to-day look like

  • Creating sales orders for new productions accurately and in a timely manner
following customer forecast and ad-hoc order requirements
  • Generating customer call-offs to meet delivery dates and follow order through to delivery
  • Ensuring customer order requirements are achieved and being proactive in helping resolve
delivery issues including amending call-offs if required
  • Establishing effective communication channels with key stakeholders at our
customers production site
  • Working as a team, leading and driving customer needs with Key Account Manager,
Customer Service Manager, Planning, Procurement, Production and Warehouse
  • Delivering against appropriate KPIs: on time and in full (OTIF), turnover, profit and
stock management
  • Preparing estimates/ quotations in conjunction with the Key Account Manager
and Technical Manager for new and existing labelsAre you who were looking for
  • You have a good understanding of sales orders
  • You have a solid grasp of the end to end supply chain process
  • You are very organised and are able to prioritise effectively
  • You are a dedicated team player who helps when able
  • You are computer literate, ideally with experience fo stick management software or a relevant ERP
  • You are a pro-active self starter, capable of managing your own workload
  • You are Quality focused, and pride yourself on maintaining the highest possible standards
  • You put health and safety at the forefront of everything you do
