Job Description

Receptionist / Office Administrator - Edinburgh - Salary up to £24,000 DOEAre you an experienced receptionist looking for a new challenge in Edinburgh Do you want to join an established business in Edinburgh City CentreWe are working with an established firm to secure them a new FOH Receptionist to assist in their busy, office environment. Ideally, you will have experience working within a professional services environment, servicing internal and external stakeholdersto a high standard daily. You will be a strong administrator and adaptable to take on a varied workload daily.This is a full-time, permanent post, working core business hrs Monday-Friday. The salary for the role is up to £24,000 p/a DOE.Are you who we are looking for

  • You have extensive reception and administration experience within an office environment
  • You have strong IT skills and are proficient in all Microsoft packages
  • You have strong attention to detail
  • You are an effective and supportive team member
  • You are able to complete all work efficiently and accurately
  • You are adaptable and able to take on a variety of tasks
  • You are able to work well individually
  • You can manage your time and diary effectively
  • You are punctual and reliable
What is the day-to-day like
  • Delivering high standards of service to clients and customers at reception
  • Managing the switchboard daily
  • Opening and scanning incoming mail, handling outgoing mail, couriers and parcels
  • Maintaining the meeting room booking system and refreshments
  • Booking travel for various stakeholders
  • Maintaining a well-kept reception area
  • Ensuring all security measures are in place at the end of the day
  • Providing administrative support to colleagues
  • Completing digital filing, scanning archiving, and maintaining client records
  • Providing refreshments at meetings
  • Photocopying and binding documents
  • Supporting fee-earning staff with papers
  • Assisting with any further ad-hoc tasks
