Job Description

Payroll OfficerCumbernauldup to £35k (temp to perm) Payroll is often one of the busiest areas of a business. The stakes are high as everyone would notice if they didnt get paid, rightIn this role, youve got to hit the ground running, and your payroll experience will allow you to fit in seamlessly.This is a busy department where youll be responsible for the payroll of a high volume of employees, so your excellent organisational and communication skills will be put to good use.HRC are working with a well-known Glasgow based organisation to find the ideal candidate to join their friendly, tight-knit finance team.We are looking for someone with:

  • High volume, end-to-end UK payroll experience
  • Up to date knowledge of employment law, National Insurance, and taxation
  • Proven ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Strong working experience of Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent level of accuracy in data input
What will the role look like
  • Full end to end payroll processing with statutory adjustments
  • Highlighting and implementing process improvements
  • Processing starters and leavers
  • Handling payroll queries efficiently
  • Month-end payroll account reconciliations
