Job Description

PA (12 Month FTC) - Edinburgh - Salary £29,000 p/aAre you an experienced Legal PA Or are you an experienced PA looking to make the move into the Legal Sector Do you wantto join a great, progressive firm based in EdinburghWe are keen to speak to experienced personal assistants for a brilliant, new fixed term contract based in Edinburgh. For this role you will ideally have experience within the Legal sector, or have an established track record as a PA in previous roles. Youwill be proactive and comprehensive, providing excellent service to partners and fee-earners day in and day out.This is a Full-Time role, working Monday-Friday. This role is currently a 12 month FTC and will be based in Edinburgh, although you will be WFH until confirmed otherwise.The salary available for this role is up to £29,000 p/a DOE.Are you who we are looking for

  • You are an experienced PA within the legal sector
  • You have excellent written and oral communication skills
  • You have strong time and diary management
  • You are able to work to your own initiative and manage workload daily
  • You have strong attention to detail
  • You are able to work to set deadlines and remain calm under pressure
  • You have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Packages and legal systems
  • You enjoy building strong relationships with various internal and external stakeholders
  • You are flexible and able to work on various projects
What is the day to day like
  • Managing diaries, ensuring these are kept up to date and include all meeting and absence information
  • Arranging internal and external meetings, booking rooms and sorting equipment etc when required
  • Keeping partners advised of upcoming activities
  • Arranging travel requirements
  • Producing various reports and sending various communication out to the wider business when required
  • Handling inbound calls and actioning appropriately as well as taking messages and passing on in a timely manner
  • Monitoring post and emails when required, ensuring client correspondence is directed to appropriate contacts
  • Ensuring all out-going ail are ready for collection, ensuring documents are signed and sealed
