Job Description

It will require visits to our sites across the Central Belt, but this isa hybrid role with the flexibility to choose your own base.Are you who were looking for

  • Youre a first-class planner and are very organisedyou take meticulous care of your work and are able to see the bigger picture and adapt to changing circumstances
  • You have previous experience in a relevant FMCG rolei.e. logistics, supply chain, material planning or production planning
  • You are used to dealing with databases or high-volume data
  • You are skilled in the use of ERP/MRP systems and are computer literatethe in-house system is Net Suite
  • You are an effective communicator who can engage a variety of stakeholders persuasively
  • You are proactive and tenacious and always seek a solution before the problem has arisen
  • You have a continuous improvement mindset
  • Ideally, you have knowledge of whisky or spirit maturation, but this is not essential
What the day to day could look like
  • Planning and managing the location of full & empty cask across our Scottish sites, including cask tagging, movement and replenishment
  • Executing a cask re-racking program, involving supplier liaison, logistics, quality control and disposal of old casks
  • Co-ordinating spirit tankers and wood for new make spirit cask fillings
  • Developing an annual plan for warehouse team activities and priorities including re-racking, sampling and casks in/out
  • Drawing cask samples and organising the sample library
  • Carrying out regular audits of the cask warehouse to ensure adherence to ASC quality standards and agreed service levels
  • Assisting with the creation and updating of relevant internal reports and key performance indicator tracking
  • Assisting with regular process and procedure reviews and continuous improvement programs
