Job Description

Banking RepresentativeSalary: £26,000 - £32,000 DOEGlasgowThis is full-time and permanent working 37.5 hours per weekshifts between 8 am and 6 pm no weekendsHybrid Working2 days in the office and 3 from homeOur client is a global brand and market leader that is currently searching for customer advisors to join their telephony team.Youll be the first point of contact for customers once their complaint is logged and investigate complex and emotive customerqueries, concerns and complaints. Youll create an exceptional customer experience through a wide variety of contact methods with the customer.Day to Day of the role:

  • Helping customers via telephone or email communications, ensuring they receive an exceptional experience
  • Recording customer contact accurately on all applicable systems, and responding to customer requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Investigating complex customer queries, concerns and complaints
  • Balancing different viewpoints and customer insight with policies, exercising judgement and initiative to reach the right customer outcome thats within the Banks best interest
  • Owning customer complaints and queries from external stakeholders (including the Financial Ombudsman Service and Claims Management Companies)
  • Liaising with third-party providers to ensure the timely return of relevant documents relating to a complaint
Key skills we are looking for: Previous experience in Financial Services Experience in Customer Service and complaints, with confidence and ability to bring complaints to resolution while providing exceptional customer service Excellent relationship skills and communication skillsboth written and verbal, with good attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload Previous experience of resolving complaints through a final response letter Experience of Financial Ombudsman Service complaints Solid planning and organisational skills Knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPointPlease get in touch with Eva Richardson if you wish to hear more.*Please note that all successful candidates will be subject to background checks which include 5-year work references, criminal background check and basic credit check.HRC Recruitment acts as both an employment business and an employment agency
