Job Description

Accounts Assistant Glasgow£12 per hour (temporary) Are you interested in working for a market-leading business where you will be valued within a large, friendly finance teamDo you want an excellent new opportunity to further hone your skills and experience in accounts by working in a high-volume and fast-paced environmentHRC is working with a successful multinational organisation that are keen to speak with individuals for an opening within their Credit Control Team.Are you who were looking for

  • You have knowledge of accounting through experience or education
  • Strong customer focus with proven problem-solving abilities
  • Proactive approach to proposing and implementing process improvements
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to organise, prioritise and manage workflow to meet individual and team productivity targets
What does the day-to-day look like
  • Working on electronic fund transfers (payables and receivables) across multiple currencies
  • Editing Excel statements using VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables etc
  • Payment validations
  • Answering mailbox queries from customers
  • Daily cash posting
  • Contacting customers on over and underpayments
