Job Description

Accounting AnalystGlasgow£12 per hour Are you interested in working for a market-leading business where you will be valued within a large, friendly finance teamDo you want an excellent new opportunity to further hone your skills and experience in accounts by working in a high-volume and fast-paced environmentHRC is working with a successful multinational organisation that are keen to speak with individuals for an opening within their Credit Control Team.Are you who were looking for

  • You have knowledge of accounting through experience or education
  • Strong customer focus with proven problem-solving abilities
  • Proactive approach to proposing and implementing process improvements
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to organise, prioritise and manage workflow to meet individual and team productivity targets
  • Attention to detail, working to a high level of accuracy
What does the day to day look like
  • Responsible for the collection of overdue payments outstanding in accordance with credit terms
  • Supporting investigation of all items identified as being outstanding
  • Liaising with customers to collect payments due and maintain excellent relationships during professional outreach
  • Monitoring outstanding premiums daily
  • Reporting to the Credit Control Team Lead any potential areas for concern
  • Liaising with other teams where issues impact the customers ability / willingness to pay outstanding premium
  • Develop an understanding of the operational processes and how these impact upon the business units
