Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a global manufacturing business of combustion management and control systems for industrial burner applications.As a business, they provide solutions to everything from the Tower of London to Vegas Casino Hotels! Theyve won 3 Queens Awards and have recently been shortlisted for a fourth and have excellent green credentials. They are well known in their industry forquality, excellence, and innovation, and whilst they are a global business, they are still very much a family firm and are celebrating their 50thyear this year.As a Warehouse Operative, your responsibilities will include:

  • Checking Incoming Goods and Materials against delivery notes etc
  • Performing production duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labelling operations and sorting
  • Providing stock control checks and provide regular updates to the Manager and Quality Control Team regarding any issues
  • Reporting defective materials or material non-conformities to warehouse manager and the purchasing department.
  • Maintaining the warehouse and stores area and equipment in a tidy, orderly condition and follow safety regulations and ensure security of the warehouse / goods in.
We are looking for a Warehouse Operative who has the following skills and experiences:
  • Experience in a warehouse stores environment useful
  • Excellent attention to detail essential with the initiative to react in a timely manner
  • Reliable and conscientious
  • IT Literate MS Office and ability to learn new systems
  • Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written formats
  • Full driving licence may be useful
