Pertemps Maidstone are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our client for an event on the evening of the 1st of November 2023.The ideal candidate should provide exceptional service and ensuring a positive experience for the clients guests. As a member of the waiting staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of service and hospitality that our client expects.ResponsibilitiesGreet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.Serve canapés and drinks to guests in a timely and courteous manner.Monitor and ensure the satisfaction of guests throughout the evening.Handle any concerns, complaints, inquiries in a professional and efficient manner.Work collaboratively with the other members of the waiting staff team to ensure a smooth service.Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your working area, including setting up and clearing away.RequirementsPrevious experience in a similar role or customer service position is preferred.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Positive and friendly attitudeOpening bottles of Champagne in a safe and professional manner, limiting spillage and waste.Serving Champagne and wines in a professional manner.Successful candidates will need to register with Pertemps, this is a one-off evening of work but can potentially be extended especially in the lead up to the festive period so would fit well for anyone looking for seasonal work.
