Job Description

A well respected regional law firm are expanding their Residential Property team, with a brand new Residential Property Solicitor/Licensed Conveyancer/Legal Executive role in Sevenoaks! You will be the only Residential Property Fee Earner in this office,but will join a much larger team who are based in other offices.The successful Residential Property Solicitor/Licensed Conveyancer/Legal Executive will be responsible for a mixed case load of residential property matters including:

  • Sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties
  • Remortgage work
  • Shared ownership
The successful Residential Property Solicitor/Licensed Conveyancer/Legal Executive will be greeted by an existing case load of quality residential property matters, however you will also be responsible for the growth of the team in the Sevenoaks office.As such, you will be responsible for duties such as:
  • Mentoring and developing of junior staff including Paralegals, Secretaries and junior Fee Earners
  • Marketing and business development
  • Working closely with the Head of Department, supporting in strategic growth and development
The successful Residential Property Solicitor/Licensed Conveyancer/Legal Executive will offer the following skill set/background:
  • Be a qualified Residential Conveyancer (Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive) with experience of working at Associate level and above
  • Offer a strong technical knowledge akin with PQE
  • Be highly client focussed with excellent commercial awareness
  • Be a keen team player
  • Ideally have local links to the Sevenoaks/Kent area
  • Ideally have established contacts/relationships with local Estate Agents, IFAs and referrers
The successful Residential Property Solicitor/Licensed Conveyancer/Legal Executive will be rewarded with a generous (regularly reviewed) salary, bonus structure and extensive benefits package including the option to buy and sell holiday, parking etc.This role would ideally suit an ambitious Senior Fee Earner, as there is a clear career path to Salaried Partner.
