Job Description

Are you an organised individual with a keen eye for detail Do you have experience with collating, verifying and monitoring documentation Are you looking for a 12-month fixed contract If so, this Purchasing Administrator position is perfect for you!This Purchasing Administrator position is working for a manufacturer in Sevenoaks. The position is a 37-hour working week, Monday to Friday, with an early finish on a Friday! This position is paying £26,000 - £28,500, depending on experience.The Purchasing Administrator position also comes with a number of different benefits such as a £500 completion fee, 24.5 days holiday plus bank holidays, a 5% employer pension contribution and also a Christmas/New Year shut down period!As the Purchasing Administrator, you will have a range of different responsibilities including producing and collating manufacture documentation, submitting starter packs to customers, chasing invoices, obtaining pricing from suppliers and liaising with sales for other relevant documentation. There will also be the need to obtain ISO9001 certificates and to liaise with the warehouse and production departments. This will be to not only chase relevant manufacture and technical documentations, but to also delegate and schedule orders in accordance to timescale. There will be an element of handling Purchasing Orders, liaising with third parties such as suppliers and couriers, and also the stock monitoring and reordering of consumable items. Other ad hoc documentation and duties will also be part of this position.You will need:

  • Demonstratable Organisational skills
  • To be willing to learn and enthusiastic
  • Strong Microsoft package skills
  • Experience with documentation is desired
  • Experience within manufacturing or engineering is advantageous
  • A keen eye to detail
