Job Description

We are currently representing a RIBA Chartered architectural practice who are seeking a Part II Architectural Assistant for their office based near Sevenoaks. This is an excellent opportunity for a Part II architectural assistant to join and develop theircareer within a growing architectural practice with excellent career opportunities.This practice is currently seeking a Part II Architectural Assistant to work on a range of Commercial, Education and Residential projects so the successful individual must have experience in at least one of these sectors or an interest in these sectors.The successful Part II Architectural Assistant will be reporting directly to the project team leader and will primarily be responsible for assisting on large education and commercial schemes. The Part II Architectural Assistant will be involved with thedesign and development of projects from concept stage through to completion of a project. This will include involvement in elements of Architectural work to support the development and experience towards completion of the Part III examination for the successfulcandidate.Part II Architectural Assistant Position Overview

  • Take part in the briefing process & review on project programmes.
  • Provide input and support into the Deliverables Schedules for the architectural teams and all associated consultants.
  • Assist in the preparation of concept design sketches and develop the design utilising ArchiCAD in BIM.
  • Work closely with a Visualiser to help develop renders and 3D animation of projects.
  • Attend Design Team meetings and Co-ordination meetings.
  • Attend Client project meetings to present architectural designs and reports.
  • Assist the Design Team.
Part II Architectural Assistant Position Requirements
  • Part II Qualified Architectural Assistant; Recent Graduate / 2 + Years Experience
  • Knowledge of ArchiCAD beneficial, not essential
  • Living in or around the Sevenoaks area
  • Experience or an interest in the Commercial, Education and / or Residential sectors
  • Highly motivated with an excellent work ethic
  • Ambition to complete their Part III and become an Architect within the team
Part II Architectural Assistant Position Remuneration
  • Salary £25k to £30k
