Job Description

Our Client, a well-established specialist restoration company of listed and historic, old and new buildings are currently recruiting for a Office Administrator to assist with daily tasks due to a recent retirement.The ideal Office Administrator will have at least a years experience within the Construction industry, have a positive attitude, a natural attitude to help others and a determination to see a job through.If you feel like this sounds like you and you live within a commutable distance of the area of Sevenoaks, then please apply.Office Administrator - Position Overview

  • Speaking with internal team regularly, building rapport which will help you in your role
  • Answering the phone and passing along messages using a basic transfer system
  • Planning in works
  • Liaising with clients and contractors
  • Prepare paperwork to be sent out
  • Answering general queries about services provided
  • Maintaining and updating commercial files and records
  • Ad-hoc queries as requested
Office Administrator - Position Requirements
  • Proven experience in a construction administrator role
  • Knowledge of Accounting software, JCT & NEC Construction Contracts would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Self-Motivated
  • Can work independently as well as a team
  • Ability to apply judgment in problem solving
  • Have strong IT skills and be proficient in all basic Microsoft applications, Outlook, Word,
  • Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Live within a commutable distance
Construction Administrator - Position Remuneration
  • Salary £22,000 - £26,000 (Dependant on experience)
  • Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm
  • 28 days holiday, including bank holidays
