Summary Were looking for a people-focused and sales driven Food & Beverage Manager to join our team at Ightham Mote. In this role youll champion the use of local produce and serving outstanding food. Youll be used to working with people of all ages and backgrounds and you love the buzz of being at the heart of a busyF&B environment.As the Food & Beverage Manager your role is to provide leadership and support to your team. Your support means some days youll be operational coaching the team and other days youll be managing the behind the scenes operations, from admin to people managementand everything in between! Youll be the leader in customer service and maintaining high standards of presentation and excellence in the food we serve.Youll be hands on with the day to day running of our F&B operations,managing and overseeing the running of our existing caf. Its a busy business and were constantly on the go. As a public space were open 364 days a week there are so many elements tolead on, but youll also look to see what else we can do to develop our seasonal offering. We want to grow our facilities, as were already fully booked during the peak seasons, we want your ideas to develop the business, but its also your job to make surethat we continue to deliver that exceptional service on a busy summers day.One of the key elements of your role will be delivering an excellent visitor welcome, as a high percentage of our visitors will spend time in the caf, so its critical that their experience is as good as anywhere else on the property. • Experience as a leader of people and managing a team
• The ability to inspire your teams to deliver the best service possible
• Results driven and experience of working to financial targets
• The ability to identify new opportunities and make strategic decisions for the future of your department
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with other Heads of Department at the property
• Excellent people management skills
