Job Description

Position: Lead Electronics EngineerLocation of work: Hybrid WFHSalary: Up to £65,000 + 10% pension, Private Healthcare and 28 days holiday + bank holidaysThe Role: Our award-winning, innovation led client are now looking for a Lead Electronics Engineer to lead and grow their electronics engineering team. This role will be technically hands on and will also involve managing a small team ofengineers, leading projects, and taking responsibility for strategy and process level decisions. If you are a technically hands on electronics engineering/R&D manager or a senior electronics engineer looking to take that step up this could be the role foryou.Our client specialises in taking prototypes from concept stage all the way through to technology readiness level working with a variety of customers, predominately in the healthcare tech sector; mainly wearable and wireless connected devices. In their 15plus years they have built up a very strong reputation in their sector and as such work with a host of industry leading names so there are plenty of exciting and innovative new projects on their product road map awaiting the successful candidate.Key Skills and Experience Required:

  • Electronics design skills
  • Team leadership experience
  • Project leadership experience
  • Experience as a Technical authority
  • Customer facing skills
As the lead in the Electronics team, you will be expected to take technical ownership, allocate work packages and take on day to day management responsibility for the team. You will also be required to be the technical face of the company with new customersand at appropriate stages of the process, so can expect to liaise with customers face to face and via video calls. Therefore, experience in similar scenarios and the communication skills required for such tasks are required.Desirable Skills and Experience:
  • Experience within the medical or healthcare tech industries
  • Team and technical management experience
  • Experience with wireless connected devices
