Job Description

Sarah McKenna HR are very pleased to be supporting the recruitment of the newly created position - People Operations & Payroll Lead. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in enhancing the people and payroll administration, ensuring that every employee experiencesa first-class service.As a member of this experienced and collaborative team, you’ll find a supportive environment where your contributions are encouraged, valued and recognised.The role

  • Payroll - Take the lead in managing the monthly payroll activities, collaborating closely with the outsourced payroll provider to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • People Inbox Management - Be the go-to person for resolving queries from both managers and employees, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
  • Process Enhancement - Continuously review and enhance people-related processes, such as onboarding, offboarding, and absence management.
  • Global Support - Collaborate with the internal relocation and immigration partner to ensure seamless onboarding for international hires, including visa requirements, right to work, and relocation assistance.
  • Policy and Process Guidance -Offer first-line advice to managers and employees regarding people-related policies and processes, while also leading on updates and improvements.
  • Benefits and Pension Administration -Lead the implementation and administration of the employee benefits and company pension scheme, ensuring timely enrolment.
  • HR System - Become the HR system superuser, unlocking its full potential and fostering employee engagement with the platform.
The experience
  • Proven Track Record - Demonstrated success in a transactional HR and payroll role, including the management and development of payroll and people-related procedures.
  • Benefits and Pension Management - Experience in administering company benefits and managing pension administration.
  • Project Management - Strong project management skills, enabling you to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines effectively.
  • HR Tech Savvy - Familiarity with HR systems and technology, including HRIS platforms.
  • Analytical Mindset - An aptitude for leveraging data and metrics to gain insights and drive continuous process improvements.
Desirable
  • Previous involvement in a rapidly expanding organisation.
  • CIPD Certification - Possession of CIPD Level 3 or higher.
  • HRIS Knowledge - Familiarity with HRIS, including Hi Bob, is a plus.
