Job Description

Interaction Recruitment are currently representing a leading company in the electrical engineering industry who specialise in the design and manufacture of control panels and related components. They are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Panel Wiremanto join their team on a permanent basis. The role is primarily based in Sedgefield, with occasional travel to Stockton.The successful applicant will be working Monday to Friday, 07:30-16:00 and will be offered a salary of between £24,000- £26,000 per year, depending on experience.Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble small and large control panels according to specifications and diagrams.
  • Follow detailed wiring diagrams to connect and route electrical components.
  • Perform mechanical assembly tasks, including attaching backplates to control boxes using drilling and tapping techniques.
  • Ensure the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the assembly process.
  • Collaborate effectively with the production team to meet project deadlines.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Previous experience in panel wiring or electrical assembly is essential.
  • Familiarity with working on an assembly line is an advantage.
  • Ideally hold a NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately from technical diagrams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to occasionally travel to Stockton for work-related purposes.
