Job Description

Lianhetech are now seeking a Senior Process Optimisation Chemist to be a key member of the Process Optimisation Group.As our Senior Process Optimisation Chemist, youll take ownership of T4 products from the New Process Introduction Group (NPI) and provide expertise and support for those processes transitioning to routine production (T5). Youll provide technical laboratorydevelopment support for both T4 and T5 products and act as project manager for T4 campaign start-ups, which include covering the preparation of associated documentation, issuing of instructions, monitoring process performance, providing process training, andproviding technical input, support and advice to the manufacturing plant.About YouWere looking for someone who holds a BSc in Chemistry and who has experience of a process development role, with demonstrated experience of transferring and monitoring processes on plant. Highly driven and self-motivated, youll have excellent laboratoryskills and experience of a wide variety of techniques.Youll have the ability to think creatively and apply new and innovative techniques to bring business benefit. Youll be an excellent communicator, equally comfortable working in a highly technical or shopfloor environment and have a good understanding ofchemical/batch manufacturing and associated process.Experience of using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies would be beneficial, but is not essential.About UsLianhetech Seal Sands is a leading European contract manufacturer of high-quality fine chemicals for use in the Crop Protection, Pharmaceutical and Performance chemicals markets.Established in 1977 and operating continuously from our Seal Sands site since 1984, we have over 40 years of contract manufacturing experience.Previously known as Fine Organics Limited, the site was acquired by Lianhe Chemical Technology (Lianhetech) in June 2017.
