Job Description

Due to continued growth, a well-established business has a vacancy for an Office Administrator in their busy Seaham Office, to liaise with Sales staff, Engineers, AV product suppliers and customers daily.They specialise in the design and installation of Audio-Visual equipment to education, corporate and industry sectors via a nationwide branch network. They provide a high-quality Installation service supplying and installing the latest in projection & display,sound, and control system technologies.This position involves sales order processing, stock management and installation organisation duties.As an Office Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with suppliers; maintaining a good business relationship and successfully ordering the correct equipment on the order management system.
  • One of the points of contact for all Install Engineers and help maintain their diaries on a daily basis to ensure that their projects are successful.
  • Ensure equipment is pre-ordered and paperwork is prepared in a timely fashion to enable installation deadlines are met.
  • Provide clear communication with clients by ensuring they are kept up to date with information.
  • Assist in the filing and keeping of records.
  • Manage office supplies.
  • Assist colleagues to handle requests and queries from senior managers.
  • Assisting the Sales Team with quote preparation, reports, and drafts.
  • Responding to emails and incoming calls.
We are looking for an Office Administrator who has the following skills and experiences:
  • Exceptional organisational skills and be methodical and thorough with effective communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including vlook ups and pivot table skills.
  • Experience of working in a similar fast paced environment and able to cope with managing multiple diaries and clients.
  • Experience of an order management software system would be an advantage.
