Are you looking to start a new, rewarding career or join a well-establish organisation Hayley Group Ltd has the role for you!Job Title: Internal SalesLocation: Hayley North East, Units D & E Endeavour Court, Seaham Grange Industrial Estate, Seaham, County Durham, SR7 0HBWorking Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday (Additional working hours may be required)Representing the Pumps division at their branch based in Seaham, the main responsibility of the Internal Sales role will be to provide support to customers and the wider branch network. Your main day-to-day tasks will include producing quotations, supplyingproduct literature support, and processing orders and invoice queries.The Internal Sales role will allow you to work alongside the Pumps team to build your understanding of Hayley Groups processes and systems. You will become an integral part of the team, helping to develop all areas of the internal pump team, as well asyour own understanding of products and customer requirements.This role is suitable to both those currently within a sales or engineering environment; however, the role is also suitable for those looking to start a new career. Full training will be provided on our full product range, as well as Hayleys bespoke computersoftware.The Customer Service Advisors main responsibilities will involve:- Processing and raising purchase orders based on customer requirements and enquiries.- Ensuring that orders reach customers in an efficient and timely manner.- Following up on quotation progress with both branches and customers.- Dealing with customer enquiries via telephone and email.- Conducting stock checks as required.- Providing ad-hoc branch support, including deliveries and collections, as required.The ideal candidate will have following key skills:- Previous experience in an engineering environment would be advantageous, however it is not essential.- Proficient in basic computer applications, with a good understanding of Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel and OneDrive).- Customer focused - driven to provide a consistent high level of service.- Good verbal and written communication skills.Full training for the role will be provided.The successful candidate will receive the following benefits:- Competitive salary- From 23 days annual leave (plus public/bank holidays) increased with length of service- Company pension (if eligible)- Death in Service cover- Invitation to Paycare scheme- Wellness programmes- Cycle-to-Work scheme- PPE and workwear included- Excellent opportunities availableHayley Group is the largest independent distributor of engineering products and consumables in the United Kingdom.
