Internal SalesHayley Group Limited is offering an exciting position for an Internal Sales role based at their branch in Seaham. In addition to joining an established company, they offer a competitive salary and optional membership to our healthcare scheme.Job Title: Internal SalesLocation: Hayley North East, Units D & E, Endeavour Court, Seaham Grange Industrial Estate, Seaham, County Durham, SR7 0HBWorking Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, plus 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (Additional working hours may be required)Working within internal sales, you will be assisting the Hayley North East branch in achieving the profitable sale of goods across the product range, up-selling as appropriate. A key member of the team, you will be required to provide efficient responseto incoming customer enquiries and orders, building a rapport and credibility with customers.Other responsibilities may include:- Utilising the IT system to accurately identify, source and price items.- Recording enquiries, orders, invoices and other documentation.- Working with management and colleagues to identify improvements to services and products.- Assisting with purchasing tasks, including placing orders with suppliers.- Undertake ad-hoc duties as requiredThe ideal candidate will have following key skills:- Experience in a sales environment would be beneficial.- Knowledge of engineering products and processes is desirable, however not essential.- Willing and able to learn about and support new products.- Good verbal and written communication skills, as well as numerical skills.- Proficient in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office.Full training for the role will be provided.The successful candidate will receive the following benefits:- Competitive salary- From 23 days annual leave (plus public/bank holidays) increased with length of service- Company pension (if eligible)- Death in Service cover- Invitation to Paycare scheme- Prescription eyewear if required- Wellness programmes- Cycle-to-Work scheme- PPE and workwear included- Excellent opportunities availableHayley Group is the largest independent distributor of engineering products and consumables in the United Kingdom.
