We have vacancies for teaching assistants to join our friendly effective Sphere Federation team. The positions may be at Scholes (Elmet) Primary School, or one of the other schools in our Federation (Moortown Primary School or St James CE Primary School).The ideal candidates must have good skills in English and Maths. We want people who demonstrates personal qualities of dedication, patience, flexibility and humour. They will be able to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as respond quickly to the changing needs of the school and individual children. All applicants who can demonstrate strong skills and experience will be welcomed. Recently qualified graduates who are interested in a career in teaching are particularly encouraged to apply. (The posts offer an opportunity to gain valuable insight into primary education; we work closely with a School Direct provider and will support staff on this route into teaching.) The posts are for term time only and will be for around 31.5 hours per week. The posts are temporary in the first instance until 31 August 2021 with a possibility of becoming permanent.
