Job Description

Reed Accountancy and Finance in Norwich are excited to be working with a growing business based in Thetford. Due to recent contract wins, the company have invested in their finance department by creating a newly formed Management Accountant role. The position will report directly into the Financial Controller and will be involved in the overall development of the department and company as it grows. This is a full time, permanent position and will be largely office based due to the nature of the business within the field of manufacturing.Responsibilities include:

Management accounts preparation and analysis

Balance sheet and inter-company reconciliations

Financial analysis including manufacturing margin/variance analysis

Fixed asset register maintenance

VAT returns

AD HOC Project for specific contract projects

Weekly Cash Flow Review / Forecasting

Year End Audit Preparation Work as required

The ideal candidate will live in the Thetford area or be within commutable distance and be either fully qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or aiming to become fully qualified; the salary on offer will be dependant on experience.
