Job Description

Supply Chain Manager Sandy£35,000 - £40,000Are you a confident and enthusiastic Supply Chain Manager looking for a new roleCoulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Supply Chain Manager to work with one of their market leading and clients based Sandy. Purpose of the role would be to ensure the timely supply of correct parts.Principle Responsibilities for the Supply Chain Manager:

  • Ensure equipment is delivered on time
  • Keeping up to date with the status of all projects in manufacturing and identifying and hold ups, on key projects
  • Chasing drawings and bought in parts
  • Preparing for and attending weekly progress meeting
  • Planning and prioritising
  • Line manage team members in purchasing and stores and ensure all teams are working well efficiently
  • Assisting with recruitment, including shortlisting job applications and interviewing candidates
  • Carrying out annual performance reviews
  • Deal with day-to-day personnel issues, referring to the Operations Manager or Personnel Director where appropriate.
  • Overseeing the management of Parts Database
  • Line Manage the Database Technician to ensure high accuracy or parts information
  • Ensure that procedures are followed
  • Ensure that work is being carried out in priority order
Person specification Supply Chain Manager:
  • Proven track record of Supply Chain Management
  • Experience within a FMCG market place
  • Pro-active and self-motivated to support the team
  • Professional and intelligent approach to work
  • Team player
  • Good Organisation
