Buyer - Bedfordshire - £35kMy client is a leader in the design and manufacture of auger filling equipment. They are looking to take on a buyer who can operate in a hands-on environment and build relationships with local suppliers to ensure that the client get the priority servicethey need.The ideal candidate will be able to ensure that suppliers are aware of errors and the cost associated with these. A key requirement is also delivering on-time and within budget to the customer.Key responsibilities:+ Expedite deliveries when required.+ Investigate price break options+ Ability to negotiate with suppliers on price and deliveryKey skills:+ Knowledge of MRP systems+ Able to read engineering/technical drawings+ Worked within a manufacturing or engineering environment.My client is looking at offering a salary of around £35k with great company benefits.
