Job Description

Talent Agility is working with a leading Fire & Security company operating across UK. Our client specialises in active fire and security solutions, offering an unparalleled level of knowledge & service in this sector.Our client is looking for an Estimator to to support in the completion of our major bid opportunities and sales proposals. This role is integral to securing new, and retaining existing, national maintenance service contracts within the business. Hybrid workingis available.Duties will include:

  • Supporting the estimating and pricing function within the bid team
  • Develop a clear understanding of pricing methodologies for individual vertical markets
  • Maintain and continuously develop a Bid Library of key pricing information and knowledge
  • Independently develop professional relationships with prospects
  • Identify key messages and differentiators for proposals, to inform and implement lessons learned
  • Support in establishing, presenting, and implementing bid management process and documentation improvements.
  • Independently source relevant tender opportunities via Public Sector, Facilities Management, and customer portals
  • Apply and enforce Company Pricing Policies and methodologies within each bid.
  • Provide comprehensive contract pricing overviews to the Senior Leadership Team for review and final sign off
  • Create and attend work-winning customer presentations
  • Support in effecting successful mobilisation post-award, supporting the Sales, Account Management and Operational Teams
Location: SalfordSalary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annumExperience and Knowledge required:
  • Good working knowledge of Excel and other Office365 software, and a willingness to learn more
  • Excellent time management: with ability to manage multiple projects with time-critical deadlines
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to persuade, influence and challenge in a constructive manner and identify appropriate solutions
  • Strong writing and administration skills
  • A customer focus, delivering exceptional customer service
  • InDesign or other graphics software experience (Desirable
  • APMP Foundation Level Certification (Desirable)
  • Relevant working experience within a similar role and/or industry (Desirable)
