Your Role:

• Creating Short-Form content mainly targeted at YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels & TikTok:
  • This will involve you shooting the video with the rest of the team and editing it with a major focus on engagement and audience retention
  • Some of the Short-Form content would be specifically for our sponsors. This would involve you working closely with our sponsors to write, shoot and edit the video integrations as per their requirements
• Creating Social Media posts for our Instagram pages:
  • Shooting and editing stills

• Creating Long-Form content for our YouTube channel:
  • This will come later, once you have more experience and it will involve full video edits, alongside video shoots either independently or with the rest of the creative team
• Other creative work:
  • Researching video topics and ideas. This is usually done with the rest of the creative team, however, you may be required to do independent research as well as benchmarking test machines
  • Creating Thumbnails for our videos. To come at a later point in time
  • Helping the creative team with any other creative tasks that they may require

Requirements:

• True passion and a keen interest in consumer tech products and technology in general

• Prior experience in Video Production, specifically editing, shooting and lighting

• Prior experience with Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere or DaVinci Resolve (we all work in Final Cut, including Motion)
• Prior experience with Photoshop, for thumbnails and image creation
• Prior experience in Photography, especially in product photography
• Great attention to detail

• Ability to self-manage within a small team
• Ability to work in-person from our office in Salford Quays, United Kingdom

Bonus Qualifications:

• Prior experience working for a YouTube channel
• Prior experience working in a professional environment (including freelance work)
• Bachelors degree (or higher) in a Video Production or related

• Prior experience working in the Tech Industry

• Prior experience in Motion Graphics and 3D Modelling & Rendering
• Prior experience in testing and benchmarking devices

Salary and Benefits:

• Starting salary of £19,000-£22,000 annual salary (depending upon experience)
• Performance-related bonuses available
• Pension Scheme included (via NEST)
• Health & Dental Insurance Cover, with BUPA
• Annual leave includes: 28 days-off + bank holidays + birthday. Any untaken holidays will be paid at the end of the year
