Used Car BuyerAutomotive Retail DealershipManchester (M3)£30,000 pa, OTE £60,000 pa + car and benefitsMon to Fri 8:30am to 6pmRenault Manchester has a vacancy for an experienced Car Buyer to join our dealership’s Used Car Sales Team.Based in Salford (M3) you will be responsible for the purchasing, logistics and disposal of used vehicles for our Greater Manchester Business unit, comprising our dealerships in Manchester and Bolton.Operating within strict funding parameters guidelines you will be working to balance our generated part exchanges with stock purchases to support the Business Unit’s objective of selling approximately 120-150 used cars and vans each month.Duties include researching the used car market for price and demand trends, searching for and securing deals for used cars through various sources including Group-approved auctions, internal lines and manufacturer stock, identifying good quality and profitableused cars and vans, working to manufacturer targets and volumes, negotiating for the best deal and margins, and presenting graphs, data and reports to the Used Car Sales Managers at each dealership, the Head of Business and our Group Used Car Manager on aregular basis.Candidates with recent experience in buying vehicles on behalf of a main dealer will have an advantage. First-hand user experience is expected with various auction sites and main dealer systems such as Keyloop Drive.You must have be confident, be able to work to targets, have excellent business reporting skills, and a dedication to obtaining the best possible results.All candidates must hold a full, clean UK Driver’s license to be considered for this job.This role operates Monday to Friday 8:30am to 6pm with one hour lunch break.In return we offer a basic salary of £30,000 pa, uncapped commission OTE £60,000 pa, a company car from day one, and a tax-efficient car after one month’s service.
