Job Description

Marlowe Fire & Security are currently looking to recruit a Supply Chain Replenishment Buyer based in our offices in Salford Quays. The business is currently going through a period of development, change and growth as we invest and develop our internal andexternal systems coupled with processes and procedures.The Supply Chain department covers the end-to-end process from order through to delivery which includes working with all relevant internal departments and all associated external suppliers covering availability to pricing. The department will drive throughchange from C4W ordering to MARSHOP development across our key suppliers.Key ResponsibilitiesReplenishment Purchase Order Creation

  • Creation of supplier Purchase Order (PO) for Engineer & Sales / National Accounts for required product and parts for all listed jobs in our internal procurement system, Cash4Windows (C4W)
  • Creation of daily order requirements for delivery direct to customer and or outside storage locations in C4W
  • Resolving and responding to supplier price and product queries and including ETAs
  • Liaise directly with internal colleagues to ensure any queries are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Inventory support across Min/Max levels set against all engineers for Van Stocks
  • Ensure daily and weekly KPI targets are overachieved
E-Procurement
  • Process orders via GMAIL account daily
  • Order daily E-Bay and Marlowe Shop orders as per current process
  • Stocked lines to be picked and dispatched with Tracking details updated on site
  • Liaise with suppliers on customer queries are resolve with the end-user in a timely manner
Marshop (via portal)
  • Process orders via Marlowe internal Portal
  • Liaise with Engineers ordering directly with suppliers. Ensuring all goods are received into Van Stocks and then booked out against JOBS where applicable.
  • Liaise with suppliers on a day-to-day basis ensuring deliveries are completed and required invoices are submitted
  • Ensure daily and weekly KPI targets are overachieved
Who are we looking forYou will have experience in Supply Chain and/or Procurement with excellent communication and customer service skills and the ability to prioritise your workload. Previous experience of working in the Fire & Security industry would be beneficial however,full training will be provided. You will have good IT skills including a sound knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
