Job Description

Ward SisterRight now we have an opportunity for a Senior Staff Nurse/Ward Sister to join our busy ward team at Oaklands HospitalThe Role:As a Senior Registered Nurse/sister you will have current leadership experience working in a hospital environment and be NMC registered. You will be able to demonstrate effective communication skills – both written and oral. Duties will involve providing support to the Manager and Consultants. You will be hard-working, enthusiastic and flexible in your approach. This is a demanding role requiring a professional attitude, demonstrating commitment, confidence and you are comfortable to give direction to nurses and healthcare assistants whilst demonstrating a good team spiritWhat you’ll bring with you:

  • Registered with the NMC
  • Ability to deal with problem situations in a calm manner
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business
  • A passion for delivering an excellent patient-focus service
  • Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
